Bio:

"I have a background in data science, neuroscience, and web development. I completed a masters in Computational and Mathematical Engineering (ICME) at Stanford with a focus in AI. I also studied neuroscience (huge data sets) at UCSD, where I was an NSF REU, and at Oxford, where I was a Marie Curie Fellow. I am currently a lecturer at Stanford in ICME and co-president of the Stanford Data Science Club. My goal is to meld machine learning, computational science, and medical science in my academic research and startup, SimpleHealth.

Some Cool Stuff That's Happened:
Won two competitive neuroimaging grants for data analysis before starting graduate school
Won very competitive Marie Curie Fellowship at Oxford
Won best demonstration at a prestigious conference for computer vision (ECCV 12)
Won 1st place at AT&T health hackathon
Published in both neurosurgery and computer science, and wrote for Nature
