Georg Friedrich von Jäger mentions that Köstlin was Kielmeyer's most significant teacher at the Hohe Karlsschule in Stuttgart, but Köstlin died in 1783 before Kielmeyer had finished his studies in Stuttgart. Other teachers in Stuttgart are Klein, Consbruch, Reuss, and Christian Friedrich von Jäger.
