Bio:

Jane Couperus received her B.A. in psychology and music from Wesleyan University. She holds an M.A. in Applied Developmental Psychology from Claremont Graduate University and a PhD in Child Development with a minor in Neuroscience from the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota Her dissertation examined the development of selective attention and itÌs relation to implicit learning. Her primary research interests are in the development of attention, learning, memory, and their neurological substrates. Her research uses both behavioral and physiological techniques, primarily event related potentials. to gain a better understanding of the brain over the course of development.
