In conjunction with separate support from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Office of Naval Research, support is provided here for six workshops over two years in which experts will synthesize existing information on the topic and assess their applicability for use in developing a science-based regulatory framework. Broader Impacts: Support provided here will improve efforts to assess potential impacts of natural and anthropogenic sounds on marine fishes and turtles.
