Bio:

Received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School. He completed his internship at Northwestern University and went on to complete his neurology residency and neuroimmunology fellowship at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. He is certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), in neurosonology by the American Society of Neuroimaging, and is also certified by the American Society of Clinical Neurophysiology. Dr. Amico has special interest in the treatment of stroke.

Dr. Amico maintains memberships in numerous professional societies including the American Academy of Neurology, the Stroke Council of the American Heart Association, and the American Society of Neuroimaging.
