Weber, Ernst Heinrich, Anatomia comparata nervi sympathici, Habilitationsschrift Leipzig (1817) is available online at the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek. On page 8 Weber explicitly thanks Rosenmüller.
In 1811 Weber enrolled at the University of Wittenberg, where he studied under the anatomists Seiler and Nitzsch, and the physicists Chladni and Langguth. In 1813 he transferred to Leipzig, where he studied under the anatomist Rosenmüller, the physicist Gilbert, and the clinician Clarus. In 1815 he was awarded his M.D. at the University of Wittenberg (which had moved to the small town of Schmiedeberg because of the disruption caused by the war). He continued his studies in Leipzig, where he defended his Habilitationsschrift in 1817.
Of Weber-Fechner fame. Also, brother of Wilhelm Eduard Weber and Eduard Friedrich Weber.
