For over 30 years, Dr. Moore-Ede has been a leading expert on circadian clocks and the impact of light at night on circadian disruption and human health and safety. As a professor at Harvard Medical School, he led the team that located the biological clock in the human brain that controls the timing of sleep and wake, and pioneered research on how people can safely adapt to 24/7 work. Recently as CEO of CIRCADIAN® ZircLight he identified the precise blue wavelengths in light which must be controlled to optimize human health, and has developed specialized LED chips and fixtures which boost daytime productivity and remove harmful blue light at night.
