Bio:

Dr. Bishop graduated with her B.A. in Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College where she also played collegiate volleyball from 2008-2012. She earned both her M.A. and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from UAB. Her dissertation work focused on identifying the psychological factors that affect the transportation safety of individuals with developmental disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.

Her current work is focused on extending her dissertation research into the development and evaluations of family-based transportation safety interventions for vulnerable road users.
