Dr Jung Sun YOO is an assistant professor of Department of Health Technology and Informatics in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Hong Kong (2016~present). She has a good academic experience and a strong track record of high-quality research in the field of in vivo molecular imaging.
Dr Yoo received her B.S. degree in Physics Education in 2004 and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Physics in 2009 from the Seoul National University, Republic of Korea. During her Ph.D. study, she stayed and performed development of intraoperative imaging setup in the Technical University of Munich, Germany (2007-2008). She later conducted postdoctoral research at the National University of Singapore, Singapore (2011-2013) as a research fellow. Prior to join the PolyU, she was a BK assistant professor of the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology at the Seoul National University (2014-2016), Republic of Korea.
