Bio:

Dr. Velez's research focuses on the links of oppression and collective identity attitudes with mental health and career outcomes among sexual, gender, and racial/ethnic minority people. He is particularly interested in the experiences and well-being of populations with multiple stigmatized identities, such as racial ethnic minority women and LGBTQ people of color.
