Bio:

Barrie Foundation Fellowship recipient in 2012, GAIN-Postdoctoral Fellow in 2015, and Visiting Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2019. Barros joined the Division of Plant Science & Technology at the University of Missouri in 2022, having conducted postdoctoral research with Dr. Richard Dixon at the University of North Texas. He completed his PhD in 2012 at the Spanish National Research Council under the supervision of Rosa A. Malvar, and earned a BS in forest engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
