Reinhold was an ordained priest (Vienna 1780), and taught at the Barnabite St. Michael's collegium in Vienna. In 1783 he escaped to Leipzig, where he attended classes by Platner. In 1784 he went to Wieland in Weimar, where he studied Kantian philosophy. In 1787 he was appointed at Jena, in 1794 he moved to Kiel
He did NOT rpt NOT study under Immanuel Kant; Math Gen is mistaken about that
