Bio:

Graduate training at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, under Prof. Charles Butter. Post-doctoral Fellowship, starting in late 1960s, with Prof. Jose M.R. Delgado, Yale University School of Medicine. On Delgado's departure from Yale to return to Spain in 1972 (approx. year), Snyder assumed directorship of the Primate Research Labs at Yale Medical School. Held this post until 1980 or 1981, and then left Yale and neuroscience.
