Undergrad degree from University of Illinois Chicago in biomedical engineering (signal processing and control theory, neurobiology).

Ph.D. from University of Chicago in neurobiology. Correlated microanatomy, electrophysiology, and computational modeling of cell types and circuits in visual cortex.

Postdoc from UC Davis in free viewing of natural movies in primates, and sparse adaptive coding of natural scenes.

Currently performing research in visual neuroscience and machine vision at a not-for-profit Federally Funded Research and Development Center (The MITRE Corporation).
