Verschuir, Wolter Forsten, Diss. de arteriarum et venarum vi irritabili, eiusque in vasis excessu, et inde oriunda sanguinis directione abnormi, Groningen (1766) is available online at the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek.
Forsten Verschuir obtained his doctorate in 1766 in Groningen under Van Doeveren (see page 17 of his dissertation); Camper is mentioned as "praeceptor" (see page 11). Afterwards he traveled through France and England. In 1770 he was appointed professor of chemistry at Groningen University. He was a practical researcher and experimenter
