Ph.D. with Dr. Phillips Robbins on lipid-linked oligosaccharide/asparagine-linked protein glycosylation in budding yeast.

Postdoc with Dr. Virginia Zakian on telomere function in budding yeast.

Current pombe work is on the biology of aging and generating mutant libraries that allow the rapid identification of long-lived mutants.
