"Todd M Preuss"Bio:
My research has focused on evolutionary specializations of primate and human brain organization. I was an undergraduate at Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges, where I studied comparative psychology with Richard Gonzales and Howard Hoffman (both at Bryn Mawr). I did my PhD at Yale in Biological Anthropology. I started out doing paleoanthropology with David Pilbeam, but switched to comparative neurobiology. My anthropology advisor was Alison Richard, a field primatologist, but my research advisor was Patricia Goldman-Rakic, in the Section of Neuroanatomy (now the Department of Neurobiology). I did my postdoc at Vanderbilt with Jon Kaas.
