Karl Einar Zakarias Tegen , born 4 June 1884 in Gryta church , California , died 11 January 1965 , was a Swedish philosopher and sociologist . He married in 1915 with Gunhild Nordling and was the father of Martin Tegen .
Einar Tegen became bachelor of arts at the University of Uppsala in 1911, licentiate in 1916 and PhD in 1918, then associate professor of theoretical philosophy . He was 1931-1937 Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of Lund and 1937-1951 at the University of Stockholm . Between 1940-1942 he pursued social psychological studies in the US and 1949-1952, he was an examiner in sociology . Between 1949-1951, he was chairman of UNESCO Sozialforschung in Deutschland.
