I got my MD at the Second University of Napoli, Italy. Then I did my PhD and postdoctoral studies at the Weizmann Institute of Science under the supervision of Prof. Menahem Segal. During my Ph.D., I spent 5 months in the lab of Prof. Uwe Heinemann at Charite' in Berlin. I recently opened my own lab at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer in Israel where I work as a physician as well in the Neurology Department. I mainly use electrophysiological tecniques: intracellular (sharp and patch) and extracellular recording in slices.
