"Heather Ames"Bio:
am a PhD candidate in the Department of Cognitive and Neural Systems at Boston University. I received my bachelors degree in Cognitive Science with an emphasis in Neuroscience at the University of California at Berkeley in 2003. My current academic reserach interests focus on speech modeling. I have recently developed a speaker normalization model with my PhD advisor, Prof. Steve Grossberg and other research interests in this field include auditory cortical development and mapping and cortical processing mpairments associated with Apraxia of Speech.
