"Brendan P. Kelly Arctic"Bio:
Dr. Kelly's work concentrates on sea ice environments, Arctic environmental change, and knowledge informing policy. His studies included how ringed seals and other species are influenced by diminishing sea ice and snow cover. He previously served as Assistant Director for Polar Science at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. His academic advisers included Ken Norris (B.A.), Bud Fay (M.S.), and Doug Wartzok and Peter Waser (Ph.D.).
