Bio:

Tanguy Marqueste currently works at the Institut des Sciences du Mouvement Etienne Jules Marey (UMR 7287 ISM), University of Aix-Marseille. Tanguy has done research in neurophysiology and obtained a Master's and a PhD in Human Movement Sciences at the University of Aix-Marseille, Marseille, France, in 2000 and 2003, respectively. He began teaching biotechnology in the late 1990s. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Spinal Cord Research Centre at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB, Canada (2004) and at the Centre de résonance magnétique en biologie et médecine at the Université de la Méditerranée, Marseille (2005). He is a member of the Neuromuscular Plasticity team. His current research focuses on the alteration of sensorimotor functions after neuromuscular injuries or diseases and on the use of physical activity, drugs or biomaterials to improve their recovery. He is the director of a Master program (M.Sc) in Adapted Physical Activity and Health.
