Yasir Jassam, MBChB MRCP(UK) FRCP(Glasg) FRCP FAAN, is a neurologist and a neuroimmunologist with Hoag memorial hospital Presbyterian.
After graduating from medical school, he received post graduate training in both internal medicine and neurology. He completed Core Medical Training (CMT) in Cambridge University Hospitals in the United Kingdom, he also earned the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the UK and a diploma in neuroimaging for research from the University of Edinburgh.
After moving to the U.S, Dr. Jassam completed neurology residency training in Tufts University in Boston, MA where he also served as a chief resident in neurology.
He then trained as a clinical fellow in neuroimmunology at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), which is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
