Bio:

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico. Licenciatura in Physics by Universidad de Guadalajara (1999). PhD in Optics by the U. of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA (2007). Thesis dealt with optimized methods of photonic quantum state tomography and was done under Ian Walsmley. Visiting graduate student at the Clarendon Laboratory, Oxford University (2002-2005). Postdoctoral Associate at the Human Neuroimaging Laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA; under the supervision of Read Montague.
