Bio:

Dr. Wasim Q. Malik is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He also holds visiting faculty appointments at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Brown University. He is a member of the Neuroscience Statistics Research Lab and the BrainGate Neural Interface Systems Lab at these institutions. He received the D.Phil. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Oxford, UK. His current research interests are in statistical signal processing algorithms for brain-machine interfacing, two-photon neuroimaging and neuromotor rehabilitation.
