Bio:

Invented the Morris Water Maze, discovered role of NMDA receptors in spatial learning, co-developer (with J.U.Frey) of the synaptic tagging and capture hypothesis of protein synthesis-dependent long term potentiation; interested in developing novel tasks to investigate memory and then using these in a translational context (e.g. Alzheimer's Disease).
