"Hyunchan Lee"Bio:
Dr. Lee is researching resilience in animals, which helps them overcome unexpected challenges while living their lives. He is studying the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying resilience as a long-term research goal. For this purpose, I have been investigating how animals' affiliative behaviors play a role in reducing their stress and substance abuse. He is currently exploring how the primate brain forms diverse dopaminergic and serotonergic networks, including the basal ganglia, limbic system, and brain stem, to encode social reward and overcome unexpected prediction errors.
